How it works

How does Journee work? Like a conversation with someone who actually knows Peru.

In four steps we craft and validate your premium Peru journey. No long forms, no quotes that take days, no last-minute surprises. Here's the order.

01

Conversation

You start by telling us what inspires you. If you want Cusco with time for a slow coffee. If Machu Picchu has been calling you for years. If you're traveling with parents and want zero altitude on day one. No long forms. It's a conversation, in whichever language feels easiest. Journee listens for context: the kind of time you want to have, not just the things you want to see.

02

Sketch

In minutes we draft a first sketch on the map. Curated experiences, carefully chosen hotels, private transfers, dates that breathe. You iterate with us: add, remove, move. If you want to change the order, change it. If you want a day with nothing planned, that's fine too. The journey gets drawn as a living object, not a dead PDF.

03

Validation

When you feel comfortable with the sketch, you confirm with a 30% deposit. That's when operational validation begins: within 12 hours, we confirm real availability with local operators in Peru. If something isn't available (Machu Picchu books months ahead — we have to look) we offer alternatives or refund in full. No fine print. No surprises.

04

Your journey

You arrive in Peru with a flawless itinerary, direct contacts to the team in every destination, and our digital companion in your pocket in case anything needs adjusting in real time. Thirty days before the trip we charge the remaining 70%; nothing gets charged mid-trip. And when you return, we write to you warmly — because the journey doesn't end the moment you land back home.

FAQ — quick version

How long does it take to craft my journey?
The first sketch comes out in minutes. Iterating until you reach 'yes, this is it' usually takes a day or two, depending on how much you want to adjust. Operational validation with local operators takes up to 12 hours post-deposit.
How do payments work?
30% at journey confirmation as a deposit. The remaining 70% 30 days before the trip. USD only for now. We're evaluating other currencies for future product versions.
What happens if Machu Picchu has no availability for my dates?
We propose nearby alternative dates (prioritizing what you flagged as flexible), or an equivalent journey without the sold-out experience, or a full refund of the deposit. You choose.
Do you work with any traveler profile?
We craft premium journeys in Peru. Average ticket runs between $2K and $5K USD per person. We work well with couples, families, small groups of friends. We're not built for mass tour groups or backpackers on a tight budget — there are other good services for those.
Can I cancel?
Yes, with the following policy: more than 60 days before, 90% refund. Between 30 and 60 days, 50%. Less than 30 days, no refund. Force majeure case-by-case. Full detail in the terms of service.
