Why we exist
Information about Peru is abundant, but flat. TripAdvisor, identical blogs, prepackaged tours that repeat across every agency. A lot of noise, very little real curation. The genuine curiosity about the traveler — what moves you, the kind of time you want to have — got lost somewhere between platforms and email quotes.
Journee was born to bring the human gesture back to the design of a Peru trip: someone who knows the country, who actually listens, and who builds a journey for you instead of selling you a generic template.

Who's behind it
Journee has two co-founders. Each brings complementary expertise, both hold fifty percent ownership, both have equal voice on the direction of the product.
Ives Barcelli brings the product and technology lens. He designs how you talk with Journee, how the map looks, how the trip flows from the moment you start imagining it to the moment you return.
Cococho brings the local soul. He knows Cusco, the Sacred Valley, and Machu Picchu in ways blogs can't carry. He maintains the network of real operators that execute every journey — the hotels where they treat you like a friend, the guides who know the corners, the drivers who arrive on time.
Neither of them signs as primary authority. Authority is demonstrated by the product, not the LinkedIn.
